About the winged horse

The winged horse is a symbol for the way of thinking that has been passed on through generations in the Pirnar family.

Nobody in the Pirnar family remembers the origin of the story about the winged horse.

Once upon a time when the horse was an indispensable help to people, young Pirnar's son was racking his brains about a problem he was not able to solve. Having observed him for a while, his father approached him and said:

“Don't think about what you could do with a normal horse. Think about what you could do if the horse had wings.”

And then he left. Soon afterwards the son’s expression cleared. He found a solution that he had previously failed to think about.

The maxim that nothing is impossible continues to be passed on through generations.
